I am in AWE of what God is doing in my life!!!

So on Friday night I worked and I was working with my good friend Gabby. So I was helping her put all the wires on a patient. His wife started said "So I recently have been able to pray for his ex. She has caused us so much grief in our lives but I have been able to pray for her." I was like Wow, it is amazing how she didn't even know us and that was one of her first sentences she said to us. I told her "That's awesome!! When you can start praying for people who do cause alot of trouble in your life that means you are taking the right steps in your faith."

She then asked us if we had children. Gabby said "Yes, I have 2 in college, 1 at home, & 2 recent stepsons. (Gabby just got married in January.) I told her "Yes, I have 3 stepsons & 1 child with my husband." She asked "Do you pray for their exes." I said "Yes I do. But it took a bit to be able to do that for me. Just because I recently started to walk with God in a way I have never done before. I have my church to thank for that."

The conversation turned to what church I go to and all the questions that come with that. We talked more about some things that God was doing in our lives, serviing at church, etc. The patient's wife said "Wow, your church sounds amazing!!! I want to come!!" I work in Southlake so I though they lived out there. But they live in Arlington. I was so happy and I gave them my number and the name of my church. She said she would call me to come this Sunday. But she never did. But I am still hopeful and know it will happen on God's time.

The point of this whole story is that God put us all in the same room that night so HE could use Gabby and I as an instrument to bring people to Christ. I was not expecting this because I was just going about my business doing my job. But God has other plans. I ended up telling this patient some of my testimony. I find the more Gabby and I work together the more God is using us to talk to the patients especially the ones who are really down and going through alot of difficult situations.

This is such a new thing for me because I am not used to talking to people I don't know about Christ. This has been something I have been uncomfortable with but I know it is something I needed to get over because I need to be an instrument for God to bring more people to Christ. It a work in progress. But since going to TCAL I can't hold it in how amazing my church is and the people in it. God is so much bigger than I have ever thought. But HE really does put us in situtations to allow HIM to work in us and also to grow us. I will never underestimate HIS POWER because all things are possible with God.
